However, there are a few drawbacks that might not bother everyone, but could be annoying for some users. One of the main complaints is that the case is quite tight on space inside, making it difficult to fit in items such as a shoulder rest or spare strings. There is a small detachable pocket near the scroll for rosin, but it might not be able to hold much else. The carrying straps that come with the case do not rotate where they attach, so users have to make sure they attach them the right way round. Some users have reported seeing the same case with straps that do rotate, indicating that there might be inConsistency in the available options. Another minor annoyance is that the lid of the case does not go right back when open. Instead, it is held open at about 90 degrees by straps. When the violin is removed, the bottom of the case tends to lift as the case falls back. While these are Considered niggles, some people might find them a bit bothersome.
