    Answer: Are you running it from a USB port on your computer? If so, it could be that the computer itself (or its USB interface) is going into power-save; - does it happen whilst you're working at the computer as normal, or does it happen when you've been away from the computer for a while?
  • Question: How long is the cord please?

    Answer: Approximately 36 inches or 3 foot. (3 standard 30 cm school rulers!) It is an led cable and it runs from the base of the lamp

    Answer: The heat problem is not obvious, but it's normal to become hot after using for a long time.
