Question:

Answer: The DuoPower plug offers easy installation, top holding values, and reduces drilling effort. -
Question:
Can these be used on a heavy mirror weighing about 30 kg?
Answer: It depends on what you are fixing to. They work on any material like plasterboard, brick, thermolite blocks. If it's a plasterboard wall, you need to find the studs and screw directly into those. -
Question:
Will these fixings be secure to hold a 4kg acrylic photo frame on plasterboard?
Answer: Yes, I used these on plasterboard for shelves weighing around 5 kg and they fixed securely with no problems. -
Question:
Can these be used for putting up a 16kg wooden shelf?
Answer: Depends on the material you're drilling into. 16kg will need a lot of support, so it may not work on plasterboard. Rawl bolts may be a better option in brick. Consult a builder for better advice. -
Question:
Is this just one plug for 8.24?
Answer: No, it is a pack containing 100 wall plugs. -
Question:
Can this be used to fix a bookcase to a plaster wall?
Answer: Yes, this plug is suitable for fixing a bookcase to a plaster wall. Ensure you use the recommended drill size, screw size, and screw length. -
Question:
I bought the 10x50 ones, which size screw do I need? The package makes little sense to my female brain lol
Answer: First, consider the weight and thickness of the item you are fixing. Ideally, use a screw length of 50 mm + item thickness. If the item is only a few millimeters thick, a 50 mm length screw should suffice. If the item is 20 mm thick, use an 80 mm screw length. Make sure to drill the hole an extra 15 mm to accommodate the screw. Use a 5 mm diameter screw for lighter items.
