Onyx Binchotan burns hotter, longer, and cleaner than any briquet or lump charcoal on the planet. While it takes more time and active heat to light (nothing that our Boom! Firestarters can’t easily handle), the result is more than worth it. Binchotan is so free of imperfections that it is used to purify air and water. It’s so efficient that a single piece can burn for hours at twice the temperature of briquets. Why it’s different Binchotan is reusable. Extinguish it with water, let it dry, and then relight it with no significant loss in structure or performance. Binchotan’s uniquely hot burn produces FIR (far infrared) heat.
