Do you have to trim these to get them to fit into a 1999 f250?
Answer: Nope screws on the bottom are hard to get to . Unbolt the 4 front bumper bolts 18mm socket size and the 2 side bracket bolts 13mm socket .loosen them all and bumper will drop about 1 inch and you can access holes. -

Are these lights brighter than the 2000 model originals?
Answer: These light have the same out put as the original light only different is the style and the extra LED bulbs. -

Answer: Yes, 9007 halogen bulbs.
