**** The Inkbird 2025 Updated ITC-306T Pre-Wired Electronic Heating Thermostat has garnered a largely favorable reception among users, particularly those utilizing it for aquariums or terrarium applications. Customers appreciate the peace of mind that comes with the device, especially given the potential failure of heaters—it acts as a safeguard by automatically shutting off the heater if the temperature exceeds a predetermined threshold. A notable improvement in this model is the inclusion of a weighted temperature probe, which enhances reliability by eliminating the need for suction cups that can often fail. Users have highlighted various new features geared towards more complex setups that require temperature variations, although some find them unnecessarily complicated for simpler uses. Many recommend viewing tutorial videos to better grasp the setup process. While users have praised the overall functionality of the thermostat once it's up and running, a Consistent point of frustration is the quality of the included instructions. Several reviews mention that the manual is poorly written, leading to confusion regarding the setup and available settings. In summary, the Inkbird ITC-306T serves as a reliable temperature controller, especially for those managing sensitive environments like reptile habitats or aquariums, provided one is willing to navigate the subpar instructions or seek guidance from online resources. **
