Customer Questions & Answers
-
Question:
What is P.E.T. Tangle Off Detangling Conditioner for Dogs & Cats used for?
Answer: P.E.T. Tangle Off Detangling Conditioner is designed to help manage and remove tangles, knots, and mats in your pets' fur. This conditioner’s moisturizing formula not only softens the coat but also provides a pleasant cotton candy scent. It is an essential product for maintaining the fur’s health and making grooming a more enjoyable experience for both pets and their owners, especially for breeds with long or curly hair. -
Question:
Can I use Tangle Off Detangling Conditioner on both cats and dogs?
Answer: Yes, Tangle Off Detangling Conditioner is safe for use on both dogs and cats. The formula is gentle yet effective, making it suitable for various coat types. This versatility helps pet owners simplify their grooming routine, ensuring that both their dogs and cats can benefit from a tangle-free, soft, and shiny coat. -
Question:
How does the cotton candy scent affect my pet?
Answer: The cotton candy scent is designed to provide a pleasant and enjoyable fragrance for your pets after grooming. Not only does it mask any pet odors, but it can also create a positive association with grooming sessions. This makes the experience more pleasant for pets, promoting regular grooming habits that benefit their coat's overall health and appearance. -
Question:
Is P.E.T. Tangle Off Detangling Conditioner safe for pets with sensitive skin?
Answer: Yes, the P.E.T. Tangle Off Detangling Conditioner is formulated to be safe for pets with sensitive skin. It contains no harsh chemicals, making it a gentle option for grooming. However, it is always recommended to do a patch test on a small area to ensure no adverse reactions occur, especially for pets who have shown allergic responses to grooming products in the past. -
Question:
How often should I apply the detangling conditioner?
Answer: The frequency of application depends on your pet's coat type and lifestyle. For pets prone to matting and tangles, using the conditioner during each grooming session will help maintain a healthy coat. For less tangled coats, using it once a week may be sufficient. Regular application ensures your pet's fur remains manageable, moisturized, and free of knots. -
Question:
Does this conditioner truly help with detangling?
Answer: Yes, P.E.T. Tangle Off Detangling Conditioner is formulated specifically to ease the process of detangling fur. Its moisturizing ingredients work by coating the hair strands, reducing friction and allowing knots to be removed more easily. This can significantly reduce grooming time and discomfort for your pet, making it ideal for both at-home and professional groomers. -
Question:
What size is the P.E.T. Tangle Off Detangling Conditioner pail?
Answer: The P.E.T. Tangle Off Detangling Conditioner comes in a commercial-sized 5-gallon pail, which contains a total of 640 ounces of product. This large size is perfect for grooming businesses or pet owners with multiple pets, as it allows for frequent use without the need for constant restocking. -
Question:
Can I mix this conditioner with other grooming products?
Answer: While it is generally safe to mix conditioners with other grooming products, it's best to use P.E.T. Tangle Off Detangling Conditioner on its own to maximize its detangling properties. Mixing it with other products could dilute its effectiveness. For best results, apply it after shampooing your pet and ensure that you thoroughly rinse it out if combined with other products. -
