Answer: I wear a 10 1/2 as well and ordered my size. When I got them they were too long. I returned them and ordered a 10. They fit great and I really like them.

They also alleviate issues with big toes that might arise when using closed-toe golf shoes. However, they might not be the best option for wearing in sand traps.
