It is designed in the USA and made in China, and is fully clad providing a true core throughout the entire pan. The set includes 3 essential pots and pans, 2 interchangeable lids, and is oven safe up to 500° Fahrenheit. The lids are all stainless steel, interchangeable and double-walled. The manufacturer states that their base measurements are 7.5-inches for the 10” Frypan/Skillet, 5-inches for the 2-Quart Chef's Pan, and 9-inches for the 6-Quart Stock Pot. The inside of all Saveur Select cookware products is smooth. Customer reviews suggest that this set is beautiful, lightweight, easy to clean and heats quickly and evenly. They are easy to clean with a “barkeeper’s friend”. The handle does not get hot and there is no notch inside where other brands use to secure the handle, making it very easy to clean. The set is expensive, but worth the price, with head to head comparisons against cheaper pans being no contest, the SAVEUR SELECTS cookware set is immensely better at heat distribution. However, the lids are thick and it is difficult to use the lid as a strainer for potatoes etc. and they rattle when there is any boiling going on which is really annoying.
