  • Question: Will this cover clear plexiglass and not let light through?

    Answer: This is a student grade acrylic. It may have some spots that light passes through. Applying several layers or using a professional acrylic or black gesso may help block out light.
  • Question: Is this non toxic?

    Answer: I believe so.
  • Question: Why can't you ship this item to me?

    Answer: Mine was shipped, and quickly.
  • Question: Is this a glossy black or matte black?

    Answer: It's an opaque. It dries dull but can be revived with a sealer. It's a creamy and easy to use black paint.
  • Question: Did anyone use this to paint their aquarium?

    Answer: No, I only use this paint for art class on boards.
  • Question: Does this work on canvas?

    Answer: Video could not be loaded.
  • Question: What's the difference between ivory black and mars black?

    Answer: They are different pigments with different tinting characteristics. Ivory black produces a yellowish gray when mixed with white, while mars black produces a more neutral gray.
  • Question: Can this be mixed with a little water to paint something that is glass?

    Answer: It is water-based, so yes.
  • Question: Does it work well on fabric?

    Answer: Yes, it works pretty well on fabrics. If mixed with 'Flow-aid' by Liquitex, it becomes similar to fabric paints.
  • Question: Does the black paint cause a green tone when mixing with other colors?

    Answer: I don't know about the black, since I purchased the dioxizine purple.
