The Dometic FreshJet 3 Series RV Standard Mechanical Rooftop Air Conditioner has received mixed feedback from customers. One customer asked if they could install the FreshJet in a 12v bus conversion and was informed that it cannot be installed as it requires 110 power. Another customer requested information on comparable models to the Duo Therm model 59516.331, to which Dometic responded that the direct replacement would be model FJX3573M. However, one customer received a product without a control panel and could not get any response from the customer support team. Another customer ordered the white version but received a broken black unit instead. Someone else asked if the FreshJet has a vent function and was told that an air distribution box for the ceiling needs to be purchased, along with either manual control or a thermostat, depending on the installation. With regards to the Easystart, a customer was informed that it is built in. Another customer asked for a replacement for their Dometic Penguin air conditioner model 600315.331 and was informed that the direct replacement would be model 640315.
