- Alternative to 3M Kapton Tape 5413: Tapes Master 1 Mil polyimide tape is an alternative to 3M Kapton tape 5413 with a HN general purpose amber color film and silicon adhesive.
- High Temperature Resistant - Flame Retardant: The polyimide tape is flame retardant, temperature resistant from -273°C (-459°F) to 400°C (752°F), and chemical and radiation resistant.
- No Residue after Peeling Off: The polyimide film provides an excellent release surface at elevated temperatures and the silicone adhesive's high temperature performance reduces adhesive transfer.
- Protection, Insolation and Bonding: It protects gold fingers of printed circuit boards, offers insulation and bonding for electrical switches, motors, lithium batteries under Grade H, and is recommended as a bed surface for 3D printers.
- Easy to Use: The thin, strong, conformable tape allows masking of uneven surfaces, and is dimensionally stable at high temperatures, preventing rework and enabling high productivity.
- Application: Suitable for electronics manufacturing, PCB solder masking, protection of gold fingers during wave solder or solder dip process, release surface in fabrication of parts cured at elevated temperatures, powder coating under high temperature, and insulation and bonding for electrical switches, motors, or lithium batteries.
