Once the water has pressurized the entire hose, it comes out uniformly at the beginning and the end of the hose. The hose comes with end caps to prevent water from shooting out in unwanted directions, but the seams tend to separate, causing leaks. The hose has a Prop 65 label warning about lead. The soaker hose is compatible with 1/2", 5/8", and 3/4" hoses. However, factors like water pressure, soil density, and routing hose can influence the level of soil thoroughly moistened by the water in an hour.
