Apart from their use in carrying cash and credit cards, the bands can be used creatively for other purposes. For example, they can be placed on the zoom and focus rings of Sony Zeiss FE 24-70mm f/4 lens for better grip, as well as to prevent scratches on the lens's black aluminum finish. Also, they can be used on the barrel of a large ultra-wide manual-focus prime lens to make focusing easier and lock the focus and clickless aperture rings in place for pre-set zone-focusing operation.
