Answer: The Trimax TFW60 Ultra Tough Alloy 5th Wheel King Pin Lock will not work if there is a PullRite adapter plate installed on the 5th wheel pin. The lock is designed to fit a standard 5th wheel pin, and the adapter plate will make the pin too large for the lock to fit. The PullRite adapter plate is designed to allow a 5th wheel trailer to be towed by a vehicle that does not have a standard 5th wheel hitch. If you have a PullRite adapter plate installed on your 5th wheel pin, you will need to use a different type of lock. There are a variety of locks available that are designed for use with adapter plates.
