These Caterpillar Men's Trademark Pants are described as awesome in the rain and snow. They are not insulated, but the ankle material is water repellent, and they have no metal rivets or metal other than the button. Belt loops are almost exactly 2 inches, as there are tool pouches, and loops sometimes take a little getting used to. You can select the color first or the size first. They are not waterproof, but they are durable, especially with knee pads for comfort. The pants are made in the USA or imported. Review wise, the fabric is like thick and stiff denim, possibly even thicker than that. Some reviewers reported that the waist is a bit tight and that they should have bought a size bigger. The pockets for the knee pads are good, and the tool pockets tuck away when you don't need them; however, one user complained that the button loop came off on the first day, while another said the waist sizing was off. Not insurmountable but something to be aware of if you have to wear clothes to work that are not only practical but look good.
