Answer: It can be done but would require the services of a welder to cut the flanges off and re-weld them on after it is cut to size. This would probably void any warranties or responsibilities from the manufacturer. -

This would be used on the left side of the toilet. What side should the outrigger be -- away from the toilet, or towards it?
Answer: When using this grab bar, most of the force or weight of your body is exerted outward or away from your body so the outrigger should be away from the toilet. -
Question:
How many screw holes does it have on the wall plate? can it work with moen’s securemount? best mounting for drywall with no studs?
Answer: There are two vertically oriented screw holes that are 2-5/16 inches apart -- wall backing or stud mounting recommended. -

What is the maximum weight individual recommended to use this?
