  • Question: How does this come packed? Does it comes in any kind of protection, plastic bag?

    Answer: It comes in a little, thin, cardboard box. You will need to store it in a ziplock bag or something similar after you use it.
  • Question: How long does one stone last?

    Answer: It depends on the use. For removing water stains and calcium deposits from a toilet bowl, one stone lasted 6 months and still had 3/4 left.
  • Question: Did you use a cleaner with this?

    Answer: No, the stone was used alone to remove stubborn ring in the toilet. Regular cleaner was used before using the stone.
  • Question: Does this scratch?

    Answer: It definitely does not scratch porcelain bowls, but for colored porcelain bowls, testing a small area before use is recommended.
  • Question: Does this leave sandy residue in the toilet after you use it?

    Answer: A little stone breaks off during use, but it is easily flushed away with no residue left after one flush.
  • Question: Does scratch bathroom wall tiles?

    Answer: It might scratch wall tiles, but works well on ceramic areas around kitchen sink and bathroom wash basin with no obvious scratching.
  • Question: Is it hard to use since it is squared off on the bottom and toilets have lots of curves ... seems like a rounded edge would be much easier.

    Answer: It is very easy to use, much easier than expected.
  • Question: Can this be used if you have a septic?

    Answer: Yes, it can be used with a septic system.
  • Question: Has anyone tried this and had success with a porcelain claw foot tub?

    Answer: Though not specifically mentioned, the product is believed to work well on a porcelain claw foot tub as it does on toilets.
