The collection includes an array of skulls from humans, giants, beasts, aliens, demons, birds, and various skulls of creatures from different races like the Orks or Tau. The set includes 228 human skulls, and about 112 non-human skulls. The size of the skulls is Consistent with the size of a standard human miniature standing at 28 millimetres tall. The human skulls range from a few millimetres tall to larger monster/demon/alien skulls, which are still under an inch in size from back to front. Therefore, they may not work well as Christmas decorations, but may be perfect accessories for miniature villages or cityscapes. The paint recommended for beginners are beige, dark, midtone, and highlight colors, but three paints are needed to achieve a realistic look. The Citadel MSP paints are highly recommended for beginners because they are ready to use right out of the bottle. Two coats of a matte varnish are good for miniatures that are being handled frequently. Overall, reviewers enjoy the quality, details, and variety of the skulls included in the box.
