For home use - 12 or 15 inch?
Answer: I bought a 15 inch as I often make flatbread crackers that need to be widely rolled out. The 12 inch just doesn't give me the flexibility I want. I don't think you'll notice much difference space-wise if you go with the longer rolling pin. It fits into my kitchen drawers fine. It's a nice product. I oil it with vegetable oil and wipe it down after use and store it in the nice, original zip lock sleeve. Good product. -

Answer: We love the rolling pin and have never oiled it. -

Can anyone comment on the longevity of this ball bearing rolling pin?
Answer: I bought my rolling pin in 2014 and it looks and works like it is brand new. I also take good care of it and I do not immerse it in water. Your mileage may vary.
