Platz Figure Kits PG7052 Editorial Review
The PEGASUS Farm Animals set features a collection of 64 finely detailed figures in 1/72 scale, designed to enrich various modeling projects, particularly those involving wargaming and dioramas. Customers have expressed overwhelming satisfaction with the quality and detail of the figures, noting their versatility for different scenarios, including military settings near farms. The diverse range of animals, including cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, and various smaller animals, caters to modellers' needs, ensuring that virtually any scene from rural life can be accurately represented. Despite the overall positive feedback, there are a few points of contention among users. Some reviewers have noted concerns about the stability of certain figures, particularly the donkeys, which require additional bases to stand properly. Additionally, a couple of customers voiced disagreement about the size of the cows in comparison to pigs, with one reviewer stating that the cows are perfectly proportioned, while another found them smaller than expected, especially for tabletop gaming where scale is crucial. While a minor issue with one goat being improperly filled was also mentioned, the Consensus remains strong regarding the set's exceptional detail and utility. Many users enjoy painting the figures for personal use, showcasing their creativity and enhancing their skills, whether for solo projects or as an engaging activity with children. Overall, the PEGASUS Farm Animals set has proven to be a fantastic addition to any modeler's inventory, living up to the high standards set by the brand. The combination of intricate designs, the inclusion of a wide variety of animals, and the potential for creativity ensures that these figures are a worthwhile investment for anyone looking to enhance their modeling experience. **
