Norpro Deep Fryer Parts & Accessories 102 Editorial Review
The customer experience surrounding this fry basket is predominantly positive, with many users celebrating its ability to create perfectly formed tortilla bowls quickly and effectively. Many have found success in achieving that much-desired crispy texture associated with deep-fried tortillas, which is central to the product's appeal. The Construction of the double basket design received particular praise, as it allows for more Consistent shapes without the hassle of manually pressing down the tortilla during cooking, ensuring that the results look uniform. Despite the overall satisfaction, customers have pointed out significant design flaws, particularly concerning the handles, which were often described as too short and angled improperly. This has led to a need for some users to manually bend the handles for better ergonomics during frying, a modification some found necessary to make the product effective in their deep fryers. Although this modification has been feasible, users felt it was a flaw that the manufacturer should address. In terms of usability, however, the basket's sturdy Construction and easy cleanup have garnered compliments. New users noted that initial attempts could be tricky, especially regarding the correct assembly and handling of the flutes of the tortilla; clearer instructions could enhance this aspect. Overall, while the fry basket excels at creating delicious tortilla bowls, the design issues around the handle geometry detract from its potential as a seamless addition to the kitchen. **
