The Tenax Silt Fence has received mixed reviews from customers, with some reporting satisfaction with its advertised performance while others encountered several problems with it. One customer reported that while it did the job as advertised and the stakes were surprisingly strong, the bottom part of the fence had a one-foot space that allowed ducks and rabbits to get through, which is not ideal for Construction areas. Another customer ordered ten pieces of the fence and found significant fungal growth on the wooden stakes of four fences, which caused them to break, and the fence to tear. However, he was able to do some field repairs using cut limbs and a staple gun. Some of the fences also had stakes placed randomly, which threw him off his project, as it stipulated using specific-length fences. Other customers reported encountering several split and cracked stakes, and some stakes placed randomly and missing staples that secure the fence to the stakes.
