The Fakro LWT 66855 Insulated Steel Attic Ladder is a fantastic unit that is sturdy, well-made, and easy to install. The ladder can be adjusted to fit ceilings between 7ft 11in to 10ft 1in, and can be cut to the appropriate length. The ladder is significantly more sturdy than wooden ladders, with a sturdy locking mechanism, and a door that seals out drafts. The only issue with this product is that the instructions could be better, and aligning the ladder from above can be tricky.
