The tea infuser is an ideal size for single cup brewing, it is made of hard plastic and has a metal screen on the hinged door, which is also perforated with holes. The infuser can hold more than enough for a strong cup of tea, although it is not large enough to brew a pot. The infuser is not suitable for coffee. Customer experience and reception of the tea infuser are mixed. Some customers mentioned that the infuser is easy to clean, and the top snaps closed, which prevents tea leaves from floating. On the other hand, some customers had trouble closing the device, and it would leak tea. Several customers mentioned that if the tea is ground too fine, it leaks out the lid. Some customers reported that parts of the infuser are made of very cheap plastic and fall apart easily.
