This cymbal is good for rounding out the L80 set but may not be worth buying standalone. Users have noted the L80 cymbals, in general, are a bit loud compared to other sets, but they're still great to have when you need to play quietly. While the Low Volume Cymbal has holes that seem like a great idea, hitting the cymbal too hard can cause them to bend a bit, but with mute pads, the cymbal works great at minimal volume. This cymbal completes a kit well and has a great low-volume sound.
