    Answer: My best iron yet. I think it's about 18months old and is as good as new. No loss of steam pressure like my previous irons. but i have used de-ionized water since i have purchased it. Hope this helps you.

    Answer: This iron was the worst iron I've ever bought after 4 days of use it spat out a dirty brown stain all over a white shirt and stained the sole plate it was sent back for a refund so do not buy it, I have had Tefal irons for many years but this one was a bad one. To answer your question I'm not a 100% it does.

    Answer: Hello, This Steam Generator Iron does come with a moulded UK 3 pin plug. If you live in a hard water area like us (Kent) you will need to use ionised water or it will scale up very quickly. This can be bought at ironmongers, I buy it by the gallon can.
  • Question: I’m getting no steam until I press handle button.

    Answer: Yes it is 9230.
  • Question: Power cord storage - my previous Tefal had a retractable power cord but there seems no where to store the cable safely?

    Answer: Sorry no it does not have a retractable cord storage. When not in use I tend to wrap cord around the base of the Iron.

  • Question: Can anyone tell me what the adapted mode is on this steam generator iron and how to use it?

    Answer: First of all you need to use comfort intense water to prevent limescales. Let it warm up2 to 3 mins and select on your preference which clothing you are ironing. Use the mode button to change to normal delicate or max. I have been using it since October 2020 with no issue whatsoever.

    Answer: Made in the EU (France) but comes with UK-3pin plugs hope this help.
