Answer: It is an inferior type of steel that results in rust spots that are difficult to remove. They are sharp but look terrible after the first couple washings. -

If I was these knives as directed, will they still fiscolor?
Answer: Try washing by hand as I do. Have not had a problem. -

Why do they still discolor?
Answer: Not sure. Mine have not discolored but I wash mine by hand. Sometimes dinnerware together in dishwasher will get discolored and even rust marks. -

Answer: They wouldn't be terrible for that, but they're really table knives. So rare meat, or if you had something prepared raw or mostly raw (like carpaccio), but they're not really cooking knives. They'd be kind of small for cutting up big hunks. -

Answer: Dear buyer:No,hand wash only.They are very easy to clean.You should use soap and then dry it immediately otherwise It will leave stain on the blade. -
