Answer: Yes, either the UrbanTrapeze® 1.5 or 3.0 may be used as a horizontal tensioner. However, the weight of what you are hanging and what you are wrapping the steel cable around must be considered. We do not have any load characteristics for horizontal use of the UrbanTrapeze. -

Answer: For the UrbanTrapeze 1.5, the safe working load is 80 pounds (36.3 kg) for a static load or 48 pounds (21.7 kg) for a dynamic load. For the UrbanTrapeze 3.0, the safe working load is up to 300 pounds (136.1 kg) for a static load and 170 pounds (77.1 kg) for a dynamic load. -
