Herculiner HCL1B8 Brush-on Bed Liner Kit is one of the best DIY liner products out on the market. The coverage of the kit is enough for a 6.5 bed, with two coats. The application process of Herculiner is a DIY project, in contrast to Line-X that is applied professionally by dealers. Herculiner may not be better than Line-X, but it is the best value for the price. To get the best result, follow the instructions and be careful with the prep process. The product served well, and the final result was excellent. The product is available in black, and it is not available in white. The answer to a question about using it on shingle roofs mentioned that it is not designed for that purpose. There was also mention that it might work, but the product has not been tested for that. Some users complained that the product was not black, as described by the seller. Instead, it was grey, and it was hard in the can. Some users perceived the product as messy due to large grit, which makes the truck bed look like it is covered in black sand. Other users reported that the kit was easy to use and provided an excellent result.
